Yarmouth Clippers

We are off to an amazing Spring Season this year!! After lots of rain during April, we are in the heart of our season.  We hope that you can join us on the sidelines to cheer on our Clippers at one of their remaining home games.  Calendar - Athletics

Boys Lacrosse - Currently ranked 3rd in Class B, with a 6-3 record, the boys lacrosse team is having a strong start to the season.  With Colter Olson and Killian Marsh both hitting 100 career points this season and Killian hitting 100 goals for his YHS Career! With lots of lacrosse left this season, we look forward

Girls Lacrosse - Currently ranked 4th in Class A, the Women’s lacrosse team is off to a fabulous start with a  total of 50 players strong. Our season started strong as the varsity is currently 5-2. The JV is playing tough and working hard. They have had many close games. We are now heading into the second half of the season playing Falmouth, Greely and Cape. We hope to see you at the turf cheering us on! #YGLax4Ever

Girls Tennis - Girls tennis is having a very good year with a 7-9 record and currently ranked 3rd in Class B South. We have a nice balance of senior leadership/upperclassmen with some new freshmen who have made quite an impact for the team. Our doubles teams have been very successful; combined the two teams they have only lost 3 matches so far! The girls have a goal of making it to the regional finals in the playoffs and I think that is certainly attainable. Also, freshman Adea Cobaj made it through the qualifying round of the state singles tournament so she will compete at Bates College on May 19 in the round of 52!

Boys Tennis - is currently 10-0 and in 1st place in Class B South. Striving for a big push to compete inthe  Southern Maine Class B Finals and defend their State Championship Title.  4 student athletes have qualified to compete as an individual in the Class B State Singles Tournament starting 5/19. Please wish Quinn Federle, Andre Violette, Andi Cabaj, and Will Best good

Track & Field - Track & Field is going swell! Harry Dougherty broke the school record in the Long Jump last week, jumping 20 feet 7 inches. He also has his eye on the 100 record. Abby Noble is just 0.10 seconds from the school record in the girls 100, and has not yet lost a race! We currently have 25 athletes qualified for States, with many more on the brink. The team is continuing to set personal records, try new events, and is having fun running/jumping/throwing! Yay Track!

Baseball - is currently ranked 2nd in Class B south 7/2 with 3 players with a batting average over .400!  After a very rainy few weeks, they are back outside putting in the work to prepare for the end of their season.

Softball - Softball is coming off of big wins over GNG and Mt. Ararat and look to keep that momentum going through the remainder of the season!

Unified Bocce - Unified Bocce is getting outside for the first time this week! We are 5 participants strong and had our first official match on May 16th hosting GNG.  Next week they travel to GNG and Brunswick for exciting matches!
