Molly Saunder's Coaching Bio - Yarmouth High School
Molly Saunders joins the Yarmouth Community with experience in coaching and playing the game of field hockey from youth to collegiate level. Molly’s love for and knowledge of the game continues as she still plays in local adult leagues.
Molly was the assistant coach for three seasons at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. She helped lead the team to the Conference Championships all three years, winning two of the three seasons. During this time, Molly gained experience and helped bring the team to the second round of the NCAA Tournament brackets.
Molly has been working at the MAINE STYX Field Hockey Club in Portland Maine since 2017. This will be her third season coaching the U16 Elite team along with serving as the Elite Director the past two years. Molly has a background working with youth of all ages through the CLC YMCA in Damariscotta, Maine and will be an asset to Yarmouth athletes on and off the field.
Molly is extremely passionate about field hockey and a key focus of hers is helping each of her athletes develop unique skills. With Molly’s energy and passion for athletes and the sport, she is eager to integrate her knowledge and coaching philosophies with her teams while growing the culture of the Yarmouth High School Field Hockey program.
