Robert Cody

Mr. Robert Cody has been named Principal of Yarmouth High School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Mr. Cody comes to Yarmouth with more than two decades of experience in school leadership in the U.S. and abroad, having served as a high school principal for eight years in Manitou Springs, Colorado (2002-2010), and Head of School at Northbridge International School (Cambodia, 2010-2013), Pacific Buddhist Academy (Hawaii, 2013-2014), and ACS International School Doha (Qatar, 2014-2023). Currently, Mr. Cody is Head of School at Mont'Kiara International School in Malaysia, a position he has held for the past three years. 

Prior to his roles as Principal and Head of School, Mr. Cody taught Humanities in New York (Lawrence Middle School, 1991-1997) and New Hampshire (Keene High School, 1997-2001).

Mr. Cody holds a B.A. in Social Studies Education from Molloy University in New York and a M.Ed. from Keene State College in New Hampshire and has served in various volunteer roles in each of the communities in which he has worked, including with Habitat for Humanity (Cambodia), Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care (Colorado Springs, CO), and soup kitchens in New Hampshire and New York.

Mr. Cody replaces Dr. Patrick Hartnett, who has been appointed Principal of Atlantic Collegiate Academy in Conway, South Carolina, for the coming year.

Mr. Cody will be returning to the U.S. in mid-July and will be at YHS full-time beginning August 1.
